SaaS at the Global Taxi Summit

By 22/07/2022 No Comments

On the 6th of July our SaaS team consisting of Dacian Keran, Anand Dave and Alin Nasser all attended and exhibited at the Inaugural Dotted event the Global Taxi Summit at Tatton Park, Cheshire.

The event itself was one of its kind from start to finish and organised to highlight the importance of the taxi industry on a global scale and the opportunities we all find ourselves in to work together through the many elements that were presented.

For Safety as a Standard, it was another step in the right direction and emphasising the pinnacle importance of safety, and why as an industry we should embrace this concept and to not just talk about it, but to just do it!

During the event we found many people from all over the world coming over to us either at the exhibiting stand or just in passing and really wanting to know or be part of Safety as a Standard from a promotional to integrating the SaaS programme into their fleet operations.

One of the key highlights was when SaaS CEO Dacian Keran was presented the opportunity to be on stage addressing the entire audience as part of our gold sponsorship for the event, and really discussing the importance of SaaS and safety. This was a true moment as many in the audience felt the impact of what was said and why it is crucial that everyone should embrace safety for themselves and for the greater benefit for their fleet and management operations.

On the day itself it was great to have support from familiar faces and members that are already part of SaaS such as Aqeel Arshad and the team of Street Cars Manchester, Gary Jacobs, and the team of Eazitax, David Lawrie of NPHTA and S.A.F.E Systems CCTV, Alan, and the entire team of LPHCA, Mark Greenhalgh of The Driver Tax App and many more. Plus, further support from the incoming or interested fleets and individuals in SaaS such as Gavin Johnston of Inversness Taxis and SafeKab, Ateeq Naseem of Albatross Cars, Ozayr ‘Oz’ Khan of Royal Cars Oxford, Daniel Nicholson of Excel Executive, Renee Rogers of ONO, Jatin Jerath of JAF Executive Travels, Claire Leckie of Fair Deal Cabs, and many others.

Overall, the event was fascinating from the new approach of being an outdoor event and the engagement of an atmosphere where people felt relaxed but still open to those serious conversations about safety and what we can do for them.

For this we must thank the entire team of Dotted, especially Azmat, Marcus and Jack for putting this all of this together and for their support for SaaS and in moving forward Dotted and SaaS working together to make a safer industry for all.

All in all, a superb day with many capitalised opportunities to move forward in building relationships with new clients and acknowledging that together as an industry with Safety as a Standard, changes can be made and safety for driver, fleet, community, and industry can all be achieved.
