The Future of a Safer Transportation Industry

Improving safety standards in the taxi, private hire, logistic and ground transportation industries

Setting safety as a standard should be a basic requirement for all transportation businesses. Instilling this culture helps everyone, not just by meeting legal requirements and reducing the likelihood of incidents but improving customer confidence in a competitive and often uncertain marketplace. Our organisation is dedicated to helping people understand the improvements they need to make and put in place simple changes step-by-step to support themselves, their businesses and their local communities.

We need a safety standard

Too many people take safety for granted right up until an accident occurs. But for the private hire sector, safety is not just about protecting customers and/or employees from hazards during their journeys. It needs to be central to business, not just from a legal and commercial standpoint but because it is the approach our communities need as the recovery from Covid-19 continues. While we cannot eliminate risks entirely, with accessible frameworks and programmes we can work together to reduce them.

Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.

Our mission is to raise safety standards across the private hire industry to help local businesses and the communities they serve. We want to help increase confidence in the sector through training, qualifications and benchmarking in an open environment where improvement is rewarded and shared.

The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but the ability to adapt and apply methods
