SaaS at the PHTM Expo 2022

The 31st of May and the 1st of June were two very intriguing and advantageous days for Safety as a Standard. With it being the first time of exhibiting at the event there was always in the back of the mind how it will turn out and what to expect.

However, in contrast to this it was an overwhelming response and a great insight into how far Safety as a Standard have come and been embraced into the culture of the private hire industry in wanting a change and having the benefits that make the fleets, drivers, and industry itself a safer and a more alterative to the vital key issues and topic that vastly trouble the industry today.

On the day the team of SaaS which consisted of Dacian Keran, Anand Dave, and Benjamin Quigley, all of whom are passionate about the awareness and safety in the private hire and wider ground transportation industry, all had many positive conversations with a variety of fleet operators, drivers, as well as associations on the influential benefits of the SaaS training platform and modules.

What was key was the understanding of the importance of the SaaS training programme and many wanting it to be a national standard such as Jacqueline Nickels of TULDA, David Lawrie of NPHTA, Aqeel Arshad of Street Cars Manchester to name a few, all asking for the integration of a training and awareness programme that collectively under one framework can provide the needed subject matter on Drug Trafficking Awareness, LQBTQ+ Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, Sexual Harassment, Anti-Money Laundering and much more.

Everyone that came across the SaaS members found the whole experience refreshing and very informative, along with the materials of the SaaS booklet, and leaflets people found informative, no nonsense and direct to the point.

All in all, a fantastic couple of days at the PHTM Expo and looking forward to building on the networking and client relationships that we have made.
